Community Diaper Drive

March 2026

As we partner with the school district and other local non-profits, we have noticed a dramatic increase in requests for diapers (especially larger sizes & pull-ups) and toiletries items. Food and warm clothing are also on the list.

Here’s how you can help!

• Host a diaper drive
Give online & we will shop
• Partner with a nearby school and coordinate with school liaison

Donations may be dropped off at Family Life Center.

Diapers & wipes collected by We Love Our City will be distributed to Care Net, Fusion, Babies & Beyond Diaper bank, and FW School District.

Parks Appreciation Day

Join us for the 20th Annual Parks Appreciation Day on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9 am to noon! This community volunteer event is dedicated to keeping Federal Way’s parks beautiful. Grab your gloves and help with planting, weeding, and cleanup projects to make a lasting impact in our green spaces.

Rain or shine, we’ll be out there making a difference. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Some tools will be available, but extra shovels, gloves, clippers, and wheelbarrows are appreciated.

Volunteer Sites:

  • Brooklake Blueberry Farm (726 S. 356th Street)
  • Steel Lake Annex (2645 S 312th Street)
  • Celebration Park (1095 S 324th Street)
